How to Apply

We are hiring to expand our services, growing toward our goals of a holistic counseling center that specializes in trauma treatment, in order to offer the most evidence-based and innovative trauma treatment tools from a Christian perspective at a price that’s affordable for everyone. It is our mission to provide: 

  1. A safe place for the

  2. treatment of trauma and adverse life events through

  3. evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches,

  4. reaching through financial and cultural/racial barriers to provide 

  5. holistic care and

  6. training for churches, families, and friends of those hurting.

About the Position: 

Therapist must be interested in working with a diverse variety of clients impacted by traumatic events. Therapist must also have received some continuing education in this field.

Additionally, therapist must have an interest in working with individuals, couples and families experiencing a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, stress management, low self-esteem, and life transitions. 

Therapist is not responsible for business management tasks such as answering intake calls, insurance verification, insurance billing and tracking reimbursements.

Candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, professional, detail-oriented, and enhance our friendly, connected, and positive-minded group of clinicians. This position will be hired as a 1099 independent contractor.

 Favored candidates will have: 

  • Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in psychology, counseling or social work

  • Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in the State of       Pennsylvania

  • Available to hold at least 15 client sessions per week, including at least 1 evening or weekend per week (or two early mornings)

  • Compassionate individual with the ability to collaborate 

  • Already credentialed with some insurance panels (UPMC, BCBS, and United,  and Medicaid/Medicare a plus) 

  • Willingness to provide sliding scale services to a minimum of 10% of caseload. 

  • Willingness to pursue at least one interest or service that furthers the center’s mission.

Additional qualifications that are preferred: 

  • Has at least one other area of specialty to bring to the practice 

  • Fully credentialed with multiple insurance panels 

  • Training or certification in a specific treatment modality (CBT, DBT, EMDR, TBRI)
