Anna Potter, MA, Licensed
Associate Professional Counselor

Anna is a lifelong creative writer and firm believer in the power of storytelling as foundational to facilitating clients' healing and growth process. As a clinician, she seeks to create a space for clients to tell their stories, hold them with honor, and work alongside them as they identify themes, thicken the plot, and reclaim the places of pain. Anna believes that the places of pain are the places of promise--places that can be healed, reconciled, and restored in our lives. Anna graduated from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and from Slippery Rock University in 2021 with a Bachelor's in English. She has experience working with emerging adults, children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, and adolescents with mood disorders. Anna has also had the opportunity to integrate nature-based and animal-assisted therapy in her clinical work.  Anna integrates a variety of modalities tailored to each client's unique needs and goals: Psychodynamic approaches, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Somatic, and Motivational Interviewing techniques.
